The ASEAN IPR SME Helpdesk and the European Patent Office: “East Meets West Forum on Asian Patent Information”,

The forum serves as a regular platform for patent information users, including SMEs and intermediaries, around the world to discuss their Asian patent information needs. On April 10, ASEAN IPR SME Helpdesk Team Leader Simon Cheetham will introduce the free services available at the Helpdesk for European SMEs doing, or planning to do business in ASEAN, as well as participate in the poster session. Then on April 11, Helpdesk expert Karl Rackette will contribute to a roundtable discussion entitled ‘Patent information from ASEAN countries - developments and challenges’, aimed at furthering the knowledge of country representatives and intermediaries on the current IP environment in Southeast Asia.
