The China IPR SME Helpdesk, UKTI and the China-British Business Council: “China Business Cultural Training”

This event is organised by UKTI in partnership with the China-Britain Business Council and the China IPR SME Helpdesk. The purpose of this workshop is to provide attendees with an awareness of Chinese business culture, the importance of IP protection and an insight into how misunderstandings can arise (and be overcome) during business interactions with Chinese company representatives. Participants will also learn why politics and history matter when talking business in China and acquire practical skills that can make business interactions more efficient and successful. The Helpdesk Team Leader Simon Cheetham will deliver a presentation about effective strategies to protect IP while doing business in China
