EU minimum harmonised training for pharmacists – time for an update?

The aim of the workshop is to discuss the main technical and scientific developments affecting the profession of pharmacist, and in particular, affecting the minimum harmonised subjects, knowledge and skills listed under Directive 2005/36/EC.

The workshop is organised within the context of the ongoing study, 'Mapping and assessment of developments for one of the sectoral professions under Directive 2005/36/EC – pharmacist'.

The event takes place online from 9.30 - 15.00 (CEST).

• Breakout session 1 on scientific advancements in biotechnology and biological sciences, health promotion and disease prevention, and use of medicines and patient safety
• Breakout session 2 on scientific advancements in patient-centred care, pharmacy profession and practice, and health economics and pharmacoeconomics
• Breakout session 3 on technical advancements in IT and digital technology
