High Level Conference on Skills in Defence

Registration is now open!

Lowri Evans, Director General of DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs will initiate the partnership. She will moderate a panel where high level representatives from industry will participate.

These representatives include industry, academia and authorities. They'll discuss a common European defence skills strategy and its contribution to the availability of advanced and rapidly changing technological skills in the defence industry.

The event will address:

• education and training for defence industrial skills
• EU programmes and initiatives
• the use of structural funds

These methods can be used to address skills at national and regional levels and to foster synergies with initiatives and instruments to benefit the sector.
