Raw Materials Week 2022

The 2022 Raw Materials Week will be centred around the 9th annual High-level Conference of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Raw Materials addressing the latest news regarding raw materials in the EU and will report on 

• managing the renewable energy transition 
• securing the supply of raw materials
• partnerships with Ukraine
• sustainable sourcing

The European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Raw Materials is a stakeholder platform that brings together representatives from industry, public services, academia and NGOs. Its mission is to provide the European Commission, EU countries and private actors with high-level guidance on innovative approaches to the challenges related to raw materials. 

The conference will be composed of keynote and welcome speeches by Vice-President Sefcovic, Commissioner Breton, Ukraine High-Level representatives, Director-General Kerstin Jorna, the European Parliament and the Presidency of the Council (Czech Republic). Four sessions will follow (including panel discussions each session), with the participation of CEOs, Presidents/Vice Presidents, Members of the European Parliament and relevant stakeholders.
