As part of the revision of the REACH Regulation, which was announced in the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability, the European Commission is organising a workshop with stakeholders on the reform of authorisations and restrictions under REACH. The workshop will be a hybrid event taking place in Brussels and online on Friday 12 November 2021.
Part of the workshop is limited to invited participants and will be organised in the form of World Café tables in order to allow exchanges in small groups. The issues discussed at the workshop are explained in the document below:
A summary of the discussions will be presented during a final feedback session. The opening and feedback sessions can be viewed upon registration by 11 November 2021, 14:00.
Interested parties can register for the opening and feedback sessions via the following link.
Registered participants will receive via e-mail a link to view the opening and feedback sessions.
The opening session will take place from 9:00 until 10:00 and the feedback session from 16:00 until 18:00.
The workshop is part of a wider stakeholders’ consultation on the REACH revision, which will include an online open public consultation (planned to be published in December 2021) as well as targeted interviews and questionnaires. It will be one of the elements to be considered as part of an ongoing impact assessment on the planned revision of the REACH Regulation. For more information, please see the Inception Impact Assessment.
