The Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs cooperates with European standardisation organisations to support and operate the Seconded European Standardization Expert for India (SESEI) project. The objective is to raise awareness of the European standardisation system.
The November 2018 communication by the European Commission, 'Elements for an EU strategy on India', stresses the need to enhance the partnership for sustainable modernisation and the rules-based global order. We contribute to the India-EU Sub-Commission on Economic Cooperation Economic Committee and the India-EU Sub-Commission on Trade.
