The Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs is involved in international trade and investment negotiations at multilateral (World Trade Organization) and bilateral level (negotiations for free trade agreements and economic partnership agreements).
We participate actively in the progressive elimination, or reduction, of tariff and non-tariff barriers by providing expert input to negotiations on important industrial sectors such as

- pricing/reimbursement for medicinal products
- tariffs for industrial goods and processed agricultural products
