Call for application for the Young European Entrepreneur Award now open

Today, the European Commission opened applications for the Young European Entrepreneur Award. This will allow young innovators across Europe to showcase their groundbreaking ideas, and access valuable mentorship and funding opportunities.

The final pitching event will take place during the EU Industry Day on June 5 in Rzeszów, Poland, providing finalists a platform to present their ideas to industry leaders, policymakers, and potential investors from across Europe. The 10 finalists will each receive tailored support worth up to €20,000. This program will offer mentorship from industry experts, access to business networks, and practical tools to help them scale up their ideas and achieve long-term success.

The Young European Entrepreneur Award is a business pitching contest designed to celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship across all sectors. Open to young entrepreneurs (under 40) from diverse industries, the contest aims to empower start-ups and innovators with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to thrive in an increasingly competitive business landscape. Applicants are encouraged to submit projects that align with the European Union's priorities, including sustainability, digital transformation, and positive social impact.

Applications are open until 14 March 2025.
