Call for applications open for the selection of members of the expert group 'Together for EU Tourism – T4T’

On 16 January 2023, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) set up the Commission Expert Group ‘Together for EU Tourism – T4T) in order to carry out the following tasks

• assist DG GROW in the preparation of policy initiatives resulting from the Tourism Transition Pathway
• support cooperation and coordination between the Commission, EU countries and stakeholders on questions relating to the implementation of Union legislation, actions, programmes and policies in support of the tourism ecosystem
• bring about an exchange of experience and good practice in the field of tourism in support of the implementation of the Transition Pathway for Tourism
• follow-up actions in the European Agenda for Tourism 2030

The Commission is calling for applications with a view to selecting members of the group other than EU countries' authorities and other public entities. The number of experts selected will be a maximum of fifty (50), not including EU countries’ authorities and other public entities.

This call will be open for four weeks, from the date of publication on 19 January 2023. The evaluation of applications will take place in February-March 2023. Applicants must send duly signed applications by 16 February 2023, 12:00 (noon) at the latest.
