The Commissions presence is closely coordinated with all other EU countries and their trade promotion offices present at the fair in the Team Europe approach. Beyond exchanging good practices, the objective is to reinforce business cooperation between EU and Ukrainian companies.
The EU’s presence includes a strong focus on investment and business cooperation, with the EU-Ukraine Investment Conference, a series of workshops (on current business environment and B2B cooperation) and pitching sessions, and an EU-Ukraine matchmaking platform connecting companies from across Europe and Ukraine.
This year’s matchmaking platform attracted more than 900 participants from more than 40 countries, including around 200 from Ukraine and more than 500 from the EU. In total, around 1,200 B2B meetings have been arranged onsite and online.
Over 25 pitching sessions will take place on the EU Stage, featuring speakers from the European Commission, European Investment Bank, Ukrainian Cluster Alliance, EIT, Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as NGOs and private companies. The sessions will spotlight opportunities for EU and Ukrainian companies to collaborate on reconstruction, innovation, and industrial transformation.
Visitors can also meet EU experts at the Commission stand to learn about EU investment instruments, digitalisation tools, entrepreneurship programmes like Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, or business networks such as the Enterprise Europe Network, European Cluster Collaboration Platform, all supporting Ukraine’s pathway towards European integration and economic resilience.
