Are you a young entrepreneur with a transformative start-up idea? Are you passionate about addressing pressing global challenges while championing European values and principles? Great news for all aspiring young entrepreneurs! The European Commission is delighted to announce that we have extended the deadline for the 2023 European SME Week Youth Start-up Competition (YSC). You now have an additional week to seize this incredible opportunity and showcase your innovative start-up idea.

The new deadline for submissions is now 2nd of October, giving you extra time to fine-tune your video presentation and ensure your entrepreneurial vision shines. If you're between the ages of 18 and 25 and passionate about addressing global challenges while upholding European values, this competition is tailor-made for you.

Don't miss your chance to be part of this exciting journey. Craft a compelling video explaining your start-up idea, its significance, and your business plan, and submit it by the extended deadline. SME Week Youth Start-up Competition – At a Glance

Eligibility criteria:

 

Age

You must be between 18 and 25 years old.

Residency

You must be from any of the EU or COSME countries.

 

 

Project Requirements

 

Theme

Your start-up idea must promote sustainability and reflect EU values.

Presentation

You need to create a short video (maximum 3 minutes) detailing:

  • the concept of your start-up idea;
  • why your idea is relevant today;
  • a brief overview of your business plan.
