Make the most of the SME Assembly 2024: how to use the Promoting Enterprise app

With the SME Assembly 2024 just around the corner on 18-20 November, be sure to register here for the Promoting Enterprise app (if you haven’t done so already). Whether you’re joining us in Budapest or participating online, the Promoting Enterprise app will be your essential tool to make the most of the event, allowing you to watch the insightful sessions while providing you with plenty of networking opportunities!

Here's a quick tutorial to get you started on the Promoting Enterprise app:

Registering 

You can access and register for the app using this link. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email and be able to access the app using your registration details—either via the browser or by downloading the Swapcard app on your device. 

Navigating the event 

You can use the app to plan and tune in to key sessions live, watch replays afterwards, and connect with other attendees. Select the ‘Agenda’ tab to discover the entire programme or watch live sessions. There, you can browse all of the sessions and events taking place.  

By clicking the bookmark icon next to a session, you can add it to your ‘My Event’ space, creating a personalised agenda for your SME Assembly experience. 

Networking 

Click the ’Participants’ tab to network and connect with other attendees. To start a conversation with someone, click their name and select ‘connect’. 

For those attending in Budapest, you can physically tap your digital name badge with other participants to connect. After the event, you’ll be able to access and download a complete list of contact details for everyone you connect with. This is accessible from the ‘My Taps’ section on the app. Please note that there might be a slight delay before your connections appear under ‘My Taps’.

The ‘Useful Information’ section provides details on all programme elements, including their locations. It also includes helpful resources, such as travel tips for getting around Budapest. We encourage you to explore all the app’s sections to make the most of the SME Assembly 2024.
