The September edition of the European SME Week (ESW) Newsletter brings you news from the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) with an introduction to the national winners in the six categories, as well as a look at the projects that have received National Honorary Mention certificates because of their outstanding achievements.

We also introduce you to the members of the 2024 Youth Start-up Competition (YSC) jury. Don’t forget, the deadline for the competition is 20 September, so remember to get your applications in before then!

Moreover, former Italian Prime Minister and President of the Jacques Delors Institute Enrico Letta proposes a fifth Single Market freedom for education and innovation, and we present the European Semester Spring Package, which contains valuable policy guidance for Europe’s SMEs. Last but not least, this issue showcases upcoming European SME Week events coming up across Europe that you should not be missing.

As always, get in touch with us if you have interesting stories to share about your entrepreneurial experience, we look forward to hearing from you!
