Shaping Tomorrow’s changemakers: Young and Bold wins in category 2 of the EEPA 2025

Momentum built quickly at the European Enterprise Promotion Awards 2025, held during the SME Assembly in Copenhagen, as the spotlight turned to initiatives shaping Europe’s next generation of entrepreneurs.

Région Hauts-de-France (France)

Taking the stage for Category 2: Investing in Entrepreneurial Skills, which rewards initiatives improving entrepreneurial and managerial skills to build stronger, more adaptable workforces, was Région Hauts-de-France (France) for its Young and Bold programme. The project empowers tens of thousands of students each year to think creatively, act confidently, and embrace entrepreneurship.

Backed by regional and EU funding, Young and Bold is one of Europe’s largest entrepreneurship education programmes. It unites schools, universities, and business networks to reach over 60 000 students annually through events, hackathons, and mentorship schemes.

The jury described it as wide-ranging, well-funded and highly collaborative, noting that its impressive scale and partnerships make it a model for other European regions.
