Third Electrolyser Summit

Today, Director-General Kerstin Jorna welcomes 20 CEOs/high-level representatives of the Electrolyser Partnership to the 3rd Electrolyser Summit.

Participants will discuss how to improve the business case for the manufacturing of electrolysers in Europe at the event, organised by the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs.

The event follows the implementation of robust resilience criteria in the upcoming Innovation Fund Hydrogen Bank auction that will limit the amount of Chinese technology that project developers can submit as part of their bids. The 20 companies attending the Summit are members of the Electrolyser Partnership of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, managed by the Directorate-General. The partnership was set up in September 2022 to ensure that European electrolyser manufacturers could transform their leadership in innovation into commercial leadership and prevent their manufacturing from becoming a bottleneck in the deployment of renewable hydrogen projects.
