Nerea T. Ruiz

Nerea T. Ruiz has a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Masters in Sound and Music Computing. She is a mentor in the EU’s Horizon 2020 and SME Instrument programmes Wear Sustain and the Worth Partnership Project. She has worked as a project manager and business consultant on projects related to the 3rd Industrial Revolution, Industry 4.0, and in the automotive (SEAT, NISSAN) and creative industries, including fashion (TCLF), arts and music. She has also been involved in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) International Fab Lab Network.

As a disruptive innovator, she is an expert in advanced manufacturing and rapid prototyping technologies (3D printing, electronics, internet of things and wearables) following the principles of the circular economy. Moreover, Nerea is a former lecturer on Interaction Design at IED (Barcelona) and is currently a lecturer on Business Innovation and Creative Projects for the Entertainment and Music Industry at the SAE Institute.
