Ricardo O’Nascimento

Ricardo O'Nascimento is a fusionist designer that works on the intersection of art, design, science, and technology. He is the founder of POPKALAB, an experimental fashion-tech research studio specialized in prototype development.

Ricardo is part of an extensive network of creatives and technologists. He is an expert in digital manufacturing, flexible systems, and wearables.

Ricardo has also worked as a freelance researcher in the field of wearable technology and smart materials for Moondial by Sabine Seymour, INTEL, and INDITEX.

He is currently a PhD Candidate at Loughborough University, UK, where he is researching how the general consumer perceives haptics and electronic textiles.
