Key challenges

Among the partners’ key challenges are the need to trial new applications of their pigments. These will need to meet the technical and economic requirements that will enable them to bring the first successful biogenic ink to market.

How has ELIIT helped?

Thanks to the support of ELIIT, the two companies were able to form and strengthen their partnership. Moreover, they see ELIIT as the perfect vehicle for kick-starting a patent filing process together.

In addition, this support is helping Ilfa Siebenhaar and Vienna Textile Lab to achieve many of their project goals and overcome some of the main challenges. It has allowed them to test new applications of pigments and reinforce their respective market positions. Thanks to ELIIT, the partners had an opportunity to exhibit their prototypes at the Techtextil Frankfurt fair and meet potential customers.
