Textile products do not have to be CE marked according to the textile legislation (i.e. Regulation (EU) No. 1007/2011).
However, if textile products fall into the scope of the legislation requiring CE marking, notably the Regulation for Personal Protective Equipment (Regulation (EU) 2016/425) and the Toy Safety Directive (2009/48/EC), they have to be CE marked according to the provisions of those Directives.
