Northern Ireland
As from 1 January 2021, the Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland applies. The Protocol makes certain provisions of EU law applicable also to and in the United Kingdom in respect of Northern Ireland. In particular, the Protocol provides that EU legislation requiring the affixing of the CE marking applies to and in the United Kingdom in respect of Northern Ireland.
