Evaluation of the directive
The European Commission conducted a major evaluation of the Professional Qualifications Directive (2005/36/EC). See the the final evaluation report (478 kB).
The European Commission requested national authorities and coordinators who deal with the Professional Qualifications Directive to share their experiences with the acquis on professional qualifications. It also launched a public consultation on 7 January 2011 and published a Staff Working Document on the transposition and implementation of the Directive (113 kB).
