This webpage briefly presents the mediation scheme offered to companies as part of the pilot project for companies interested in having recourse to mediation to resolve a payment dispute with another commercial partner.

Mediation is flexible, cost-effective, and confidential, and improves commercial relationships. A presentation of mediation is available on the dedicated webpage.

The pilot project's mediation scheme will help resolve business-to-business (B2B) payment-related disputes in the construction sector in Belgium. These include late payment, quality or performance issues that result in no payment, and contractual payment disputes.

The mediation process is available and you can initiate it regardless of whether your contract covers it or not!

The mediation scheme provides reduced and capped fees charged by Belgian certified mediators and helps you find the most suited mediator. Our team of 27 Belgian certified mediators received training on payment-related disputes in the construction sector. They are native French or Flemish Dutch speakers, with most being bilingual, and can also conduct mediations in English upon request.
