Meet the top 10 entrepreneurs

The Young European Entrepreneur Award 2025 (YEEA 2025) has successfully spotlighted Europe’s most inspiring ventures led by young entrepreneurs under 40. Designed to reward innovation across societal, environmental and economic challenges, the contest provides the top 10 entrepreneurs with outstanding training support, tailored to their business needs and career aspirations..  

What did the top 10 entrepreneurs receive? 

•  customised pre-incubation and acceleration trainings worth up to €20,000 per finalist
• personalised guidance on business development and pitching coaching from academics and professionals with proven success in entrepreneurship and mentoring entrepreneurs. 

Out of 247 applications, the top 10 entrepreneurs stood out for their exceptional creativity, determination and entrepreneurial vision. Of these, 5 were selected to pitch at the YEEA 2025 final on 5 June in Rzeszów, Poland, during the flagship event EU Industry Days. This high-profile platform not only amplified visibility for the entrepreneurs but also highlighted their solutions to a wide European audience, strengthening awareness of their ventures across industries. 

The gold winner Keylany Hassine impressed everyone with Istya, an AI-driven sensor system that enhances urban air quality and energy efficiency, reducing heating, ventilation and air conditioning energy use by up to 40%. Moritz Wessely secured silver with PrecisionBiome, an AI-powered gut microbiome platform delivering personalised therapies for chronic illness, while Ana Sofia Teixeira won bronze for NexThera, an AI platform offering precision oncology recommendations for advanced-stage cancer patients. 

The other entrepreneurs also drew significant attention: Niko Bucalo (Textiloop) is transforming textile waste into a circular economy marketplace; Célia Cruz (Complear) is redefining healthtech compliance with an AI-powered platform; Cristina Di Carlo (CDC Studio) is converting mixed textile waste into high-performance polymers; Jana Koci (Uniwellsity) is supporting student mental health with an AI-driven course; Rafail Kasapis (Apollo Green Solutions) is optimising energy consumption in industrial buildings with AI; Vito Giovanni Lucivero (QSENSATO) is pioneering quantum sensing technologies; and Sebastian Thinghøj Nyrup (Unshackled B.V.) is introducing medical-grade heated gloves to treat Raynaud’s syndrome. 

Through their participation in YEEA 2025, these entrepreneurs gained not only social media exposure but also the opportunity to develop their pitching skills, effectively showcase their business ventures’ impact and present their innovations to international stakeholders and investors.
