The short-term accommodation rental sector is growing fast, creating opportunities for businesses, particularly SMEs, and citizens. However, their rapid growth has given rise to a number of concerns.
The Commission is working on an initiative to encourage the responsible development of this new business model to offer a balanced solution for cities, peer and professional short-term rental providers and platforms.
Registration is now open for our two virtual workshops.
22 October 2021: Enhancing transparency on short-term rentals in the EU
9 November 2021: Developing a fair single market for short-term rental services
The workshops are open to all participants who are concerned with short-term rentals such as online platforms, public authorities, citizens and companies offering short-term rental accommodation, hotels, academia and their representatives.
As spaces are limited, you will need to wait to receive confirmation of your registration and shall receive connection details shortly before the event.
