SME Assembly

The SME Assembly is the most significant event for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe. The conference takes place once a year as part of the European SME Week (ESW). Together with the network of SME envoys, the assembly creates the governance structure of the small business act.

The 2024 SME Assembly 

The 2024 SME Assembly will take place from 18 to 20 November 2024 in Budapest, Hungary, and will be hosted in conjunction with the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The Assembly will feature high-level panels and interviews, expert round tables, interactive workshops, informative masterclasses and numerous networking opportunities. These will help stimulate Europe's enterprises and equip them with the right tools for the transition towards sustainability and digitalisation.

Register on the Promoting Enterprise event app, and follow the SME Assembly 2024 online. You will have access to key live-streamed discussions and sessions, including the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) ceremony and the Youth Start-Up Competition finale.

The SME Assembly is the flagship event of the European SME Week (ESW), a pan-European campaign coordinated by the European Commission that runs throughout the year and aims to promote entrepreneurship in Europe, help entrepreneurs find information on available support and resources, and encourage new business ventures.
