EEPA 2023 Compendium

The culmination of the 17th edition of the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) marked a significant moment at the SME Assembly 2023, which took place in the vibrant city of Bilbao in November. There were 297 national projects in 2023, which resulted in a shortlist of 55 projects representing the strongest entrepreneurial ideas from across Europe. During the SME Assembly, six projects were awarded as winners, including the Grand Jury Prize. There were many interesting runners-up and two special mentions – you can find more information about all of these in the Compendium.

This annual publication serves as a testament to the exceptional projects that made it onto the EEPA shortlist, offering valuable insights into their accomplishments and shedding light on the awards process. The latest Compendium introduces each of the shortlisted projects and provides additional details on the recipient of the esteemed Grand Jury Prize.

I believe that the projects that won at national level all deserve to be recognised for their efforts because of their high standard,” EEPA Jury Member Outi Slotboom writes in the introduction to the Compendium. “I kindly invite you all to learn more about the projects awarded in 2023 and hope you will be inspired by their pioneering examples of innovation and entrepreneurship.”
