EEPA 2023 shortlist: Category 6 - Responsible and Inclusive Entrepreneurship

EEPA 2023 shortlist Category 6

The European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) 2023 has unveiled its shortlisted projects across the competition’s six categories, showcasing outstanding initiatives that foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable growth in Europe. In this post, we take a look at the projects that made it onto the shortlist in EEPA Category 6 – Responsible and Inclusive Entrepreneurship. These are presented in alphabetical order below.

Category 6 – Responsible and Inclusive Entrepreneurship recognises initiatives that promote corporate social responsibility among small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurship among disadvantaged groups such as the unemployed, legal migrants, disabled, or people from ethnic minorities. Let’s meet the worthy projects on this year’s shortlist in alphabetical order of the project name:

Category 6 – Responsible and Inclusive Entrepreneurship

IVDK Hub for Ukrainians (Denmark) is helping 1,100 Ukrainian refugees develop entrepreneurial skills, start a business and contribute to the rebuilding of their country. The project covers all areas of the business cycle, regulation and culture as well as mental resilience and health, while also serving as a bridge between two nations and ecosystems.

SLEEVESUP (Luxembourg) supports refugees in creating a business in Luxembourg, including with a one-week practical training course in the administrative aspects of business creation, in simplified language and with course support available in multiple languages.

Start-up Refugees: Business Programme (Finland) provides participants information, skills and an approach towards entrepreneurship with the help of training, market validation, business advice and events. The programme’s training provides information and develops an entrepreneurial attitude. It also provides business advice in several languages and through various channels to promote the development of business ideas and to ensure that companies are established on a more stable basis.

We wish all of the worthy Category 6 shortlisted projects the best of luck in the next stage of the competition!
