Passed deadline 2024/02/28 - Call for input on the ERGP Work Programme 2025

The yearly activities of the ERGP follow the annual Work Programme (WP), which reflects the results of a broad stakeholder consultation in order to guarantee that the work to be undertaken corresponds to the needs of the postal sector.

The WP 2025 will be adapted in accordance with the provisions of the Medium Term Strategy 2023-25 (pdf, 393 KB) and consequently will build on the 3 strategic pillars

  • revisiting the postal sector and its regulatory framework in light of environmental sustainability and digitalisation
  • promotion of a competitive single EU postal market in the context of rising e-commerce deliveries
  • empowerment of end-users and ensuring a user oriented universal service

The WP will thus take into account the long-term challenges and developments of the postal sector. In this context, and in the interest of a wide stakeholder participation from an early stage, we kindly ask for your submission of proposals, suggestions, ideas, specific topics or issues, including possible desired deliverables regarding the work programme.

Timeline

  1. please send your input to GROW-ERGPatec [dot] europa [dot] eu (GROW-ERGP[at]ec[dot]europa[dot]eu) and ergp2024atpts [dot] se (ergp2024[at]pts[dot]se) by 28 February 2024
  2. the draft ERGP WP 2025 will be subject to public consultation, expected to take place during Q3 2024
  3. ERGP Plenary II (November 2024) will approve the final version
