Description
One of the main aims of this visit is to strengthen co-operation in strategic industries. In this context, the China IPR SME Helpdesk will participate in the Mission for Growth by providing a presentation about managing intellectual property in China to the delegates on 21 October. A Helpdesk booth with IP materials will be open during the business-to-business meetings on 22 and 23 October, where the IP Business Advisor Reinout van Malenstein will be available for one-on-one consultation sessions.

EU-China Business and Technology Cooperation Fair
The Mission will take place in conjunction with the IX EU-China Business and Technology Cooperation Fair. This event has been held for eight editions attracting 3255 Chinese companies and 1572 European companies. More than 10.000 bilateral meetings took place with one third of successful matches. The IX fair is expected to gather 800 to 1000 representatives of SMEs, clusters, business associations, R&D institutions and government bodies.
The EU-China Business & Technology Cooperation Fair IX is organized by the EU Project Innovation Centre (EUPIC), member of the Enterprise Europe Network responsible for West China.
China IPR SME Helpdesk Involvement
The Helpdesk will participate in Mission for Growth by providing a presentation about managing Intellectual Property in China to the delegates on 21 October. A Helpdesk booth with IP materials will be open during the business to business meetings on 22 and 23 October, where Helpdesk in-house IP Expert Reinout van Malenstein will be available to provide confidential one-on-one consultation sessions.
