Applications for net-zero technology manufacturing projects to receive recognition as Net-Zero Strategic Projects are now open under the Net-Zero Industry Act Regulation (EU) 2024/1735. 

These strategic projects play a critical role in strengthening the EU’s net-zero industry by enhancing resilience, strategic autonomy, and competitiveness while scaling up technologies essential for achieving climate-neutrality.

Projects granted Net-Zero Strategic Project status will benefit from

• Priority status at the national level
• Faster permitting processes
• Focus and support within the Net-Zero Europe Platform, including financing advice
