EPAA at the 12th World Congress

The World Congress on Alternatives and Animal Use in the Life Sciences (WC series) was established by the Alternatives Congress Trust in Baltimore, USA in 1993.

It brings together multidisciplinary stakeholders from academia, industry, government, and non-profit sectors under 1 roof to advance the 3Rs —  reduce, refine, and replace the use of animals in the life sciences.

In 2023, the WC12 will be held in Niagara Falls, Canada from 27-31 August with the following contributions from EPAA below.

16.30 – 17.30: EPAA 2023 Student grants winner

EPAA 3Rs student grants help researchers participate in high-profile, international meetings that focus on the development and acceptance of 3R alternatives to animal testing (replacement, reduction or refinement).

This year, one super grant of €2 500 for the 12th World Congress on Alternatives and Animal Use in Life Sciences was available. The winner of the super grant is Prem Chad for his poster Characterization of Hepatic 3D Spheroids Using Multiphoton Microscopy and OMICS.
