Hydrogen: 5th Forum of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance

Today the Commission is hosting the 5th Forum of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance. The Forum is focusing its discussion on the infrastructure requirements to meet the EU’s target of 10 million tonnes of clean hydrogen production in the EU by 2030

The roadmap on hydrogen standards will be also launched today. The roadmap provides a comprehensive overview of standardisation issues, gaps, challenges and priorities identified by the alliance members and will inform the work of the Commission and the European standardisation bodies CEN/CENELEC. The roadmap will be published in early 2023.

Members of the alliance will be updated on the latest EU regulatory developments. The European Clean Hydrogen Alliance counts almost 1700 stakeholders from industry, public authorities, research organisations, academic institutions, financial community and civil society.
