Social Economy in Eastern Neighbourhood and in the Western Balkans

A study on 'Social economy in Eastern Neighbourhood and in the Western Balkans' was recently published.

How can we efficiently develop the social economy and social entrepreneurship? What conditions are needed? Which modality of support should we use? The study aims to answer these questions for the 12 enlargement and eastern neighbourhood countries.

There are 12 country reports and a synthesis report that analyses the social economy and social entrepreneurship ecosystems in the 2 regions. The synthesis report also includes a comparison of the countries within each of the regions, emphasising similarities and differences that boost or block further development of social economy.
