The 2024 World Youth Skills Day is themed “Youth Skills for Peace and Development”, reflecting the role that young people can play in peacebuilding and conflict resolution – one of the many challenges faced by people around the world. The day commits to providing young people with the necessary skills and opportunities to address global issues and contribute to a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable future.

The 2024 Youth Start-Up Competition (YSC) allows young entrepreneurs living in EU or COSME countries, aged between 18 and 25, to showcase their innovative start-up ideas in response to pressing global challenges, from sustainability to social inclusion and technological advancement.
