The Commission has a legal obligation to monitor the implementation of the COSME programme, to report annually and to disseminate the results of this monitoring.
At the moment, the Commission is performing the interim evaluation of the COSME programme. The objectives are to measure impacts and results achieved so far, to draw lessons for the coming years up to the end of the programme in 2020 and to pave the way for the preparatory work for the period post-2020.
This page provides information on the evolution of the different steps of the evaluation process until its finalisation in 2018. The open public consultation was held from 10 May 2017 until 31 August 2017 and the received feedback is available on the public consultation page.
