Introducing László Hunyadi, 2024 Youth Start-Up Competition jury member

László Hunyadi will join Mariia Alipatova, Cristina Fernandez, Bart Becks, and Igor Kalinic on the jury assessing the unique and innovative start-up ideas submitted to this year's Youth Start-Up Competition (YSC).

The finale of Youth Start-up Competition (YSC) 2024 is approaching fast, to be held at the SME Assembly 2024 in Budapest, Hungary (18-20 November), hosted by the Hungarian Presidency of the EU.

The YSC shortlisted candidates will present their ideas at the SME Assembly, with the winner being invited to the 2025 European Innovation Council (EIC) summit 2025.

László is the current Head of Enterprise Development and Grants, Ministry for National Economy and SME Envoy of Hungary. As part of his role, Mr Hunyadi coordinates national SME policy, including the regulatory framework, designing and implementing EU and nationally funded financial support programmes, and coordinating tools within the national Ministry for National Economy, such as the SME Strategy 2019-2030. He is also responsible for the professional supervision of the national Economic Development Agency. With his extensive background supporting SMEs in Hungary, László is the perfect addition to the jury to assess the game-changing start-up solutions tackling global challenges submitted to the #YSC2024.
